Parts Manager

The ideal candidate will be a hard working team player that is passionate about growing the business and serving our customers. Knowledge of small gas engines, electrical wiring, snowplowing, lawnmowers, etc. and their associated parts is a prerequisite for the position. This position will also need to assist with job duties of the service manager upon request. Position can require frequent lifting of up to 25lbs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle all walk in/call in parts business• Issue purchase orders, track order status, and check in all deliveries
  • Display seasonal parts and accessories in an attractive manner and build product for display and sale.
  • Maintain master parts books and update any price changes in the system and manage inventory levels
  • Order all needed parts for service technicians
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station• Open and close the shop when scheduled

Key Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum High School Education and 2 years’ experience or college training equivalent
  • Ability to read, understand, and apply instructions per service manuals when necessary
  • Proficient with computers
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Background in parts/sales/service or small engine repair – 2yrs experience minimum

Outside dealer sales representative

Key responsibilities:

An outside dealership sales representative’s primary responsibility is to increase truck body and accessory sales by increasing market share within the assigned territory and silo. The individual will drive results by developing and supporting new and existing dealership business. Products will include, but not be limited to, customized and stock service bodies, dump bodies, flatbeds, snowplows and truck accessories. Candidates should possess a strong, established relationship within the work truck market or a directly relevant sales work history. Candidate should be energetic, willing to travel regionally and very well organized.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum 18 years of age with a valid/clean driver’s license
  • Comfortable with using CRM programs to document client interactions and history
  • Must have understanding of the estimation process, inventory management and sales process
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in outside sales with documented performance history
  • Effective written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Proficient with the Office Suite
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Strategic prospecting skills and the willingness to perform cold calls
  • Ability to build rapport quickly
