FULL JOB DESCRIPTION
Hoekstra Truck Equipment is seeking one full time Outside Sales Representative to join our sales team.
Key responsibilities:
An outside sales representative’s primary responsibility is to increase truck body and accessory sales by increasing market share within the assigned territory and silo. The individual will drive results by developing new business and maintaining relationships with existing customers. Products will include, but not be limited to, customized and stock service bodies, dump bodies, flatbeds, snowplows, and truck accessories.
We are looking for sales talent with minimum of two years of experience that includes the complete understanding of sales processes and closing. The desired candidate will have strong communication, customer service appreciation, and motivated by teamwork. This position requires clearly defined sales and income goals with a strong commitment to execute. Industry experience is preferred but not required for the right person that is willing to commit to learning the products and services.
Key Qualifications and Skills:
- Comfortable with using CRM programs to document client interactions and history
- Must understand the estimation process, inventory management and sales process
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in outside sales with documented performance history
- Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Proficient with the Office Suite
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with limited supervision
- Strategic prospecting skills and the willingness to perform cold calls
- Ability to build rapport quickly
- Minimum 18 years of age with a valid/clean driver’s license
